Hws everyone doing ????? ... Hope all is well :) :).... So me back again...yeah I know today I am bit late ... sorry for late blogging today.... I wrote a blog and was just going to click on Publish Button and dont know what went wrong and whole my post got deleted :( :(...
But blog to mujhe aj post krna hi h ...So now again I am writing.... Lets start it again with a fresh note :) :) ... After Cake and yummy Chaat...lets have something healthy now... whts say guys :) :)... I know you all will also be agree with my thoughts... So today we will prepare a PARATHA... All would be well known with this word PARATHA...
Let me give a brief description about PARATHAS :- Parathas are the flatbread veary famous in INDIA and mainly prepared with wheat flour... Mostly each day in North INIDA Parathas are prepared in every house.Parathas can be of many varities like Cauliflower Paratha , Potato Paratha , Onion Paratha , Panner Paratha ..and list is very big :) :)...
I remember my childhood days, when my mom prepares yummy parathas for me and my sis.I need to take two tiffins always to School and College as my mom parathas are quiet famous ... and seriously my friends wait for my tiffin to come :) :)... Love the taste of my mom hand... I like mostly to eat hot spicy parathas with tangy pickle in winter season.. when outside cold breeze is blowing and we enjoy in home by eating freshly prepared parathas of Raddish or Cauliflower or mix veg by my mom.. wow yum yum... by thinking only my tongue is dancing :) :)... But now I am married and need to cook by myself... not to worry... My mom helped with all her recipes... thanks mom for everything :) :)
Today we will prepare here Bottle Gourd Parathas ... :) :) .. I can see smile of some of the faces now... yes I know for most of the mummies out there... is a big question for you all that how to give kids these types of green and healthy vegetables ( bottle gourd, snake gourd , pumpkin etc)... as curries of these vegetables mostly kids will not touch also... So for all you worried moms here.. I guarantee you all kids will love these parathas..and will eat jhatpat :) :)..lets start ...
Ingredients : -
1 medium sized Bottle Gourd(Peel the bottle gourd.Take out the seeds from it and crush it.Remove excess water by pressing it with the hands)
1 + 1/2 cup wheat flour
1/2 cup garam flour
1-2 green chillies finely chopped
1 tsp cumin powder
1/2 tsp coriander powder
1 tsp red chilly powder
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
salt to taste
1/2 tsp asfotedia
oil to roast
water to kneed the dough
Procedure :-
Mix all the things except oil and kneed the dough.Dont put much water as Bottle Gourd has water in it.It will be not dough like normal.May be some what sticky.So no need to worry.Let it rest for 15-20mins.Then with the help of dry wheat flour roll the parathas using rolling board and rolling pin.Dont make too thin.Then roast on medium flame by applying oill on both the sides.Serve hot with any chutney you like or even with pickle or tomato sauce :) :)... It will taste yum with any side chutney...
Even parathas eaten after 5 hrs of cooking also will taste yum.So you can keep in lunch box of your husband or kids.And me sure the lunch box will come empty and there will be a big smile on you face...
