Nimbu Mirchi Instant Pickle

Happy New year !!!!

May this 2018 brings lots of happiness ... Success ... And prosperity for all of us :) :)... This is the first post of 2018 :) :) ... So guys excited !! ... I am full excited to start our journey of being foodie with me :) :)

Winter is my favorite season as there are lots of options for food comes with it.Its a fantastic season for that extra hour curled up under your razai; this is the time when you feel comfortable staying indoors as these months are often associated with flu-like symptoms and dreaded cold. 

Cold weather brings a drop in your body temperature, which stimulates your appetite. Eating helps to generate heat and keeps your body warm



It is tempting to use cold weather as an excuse to “gulp on” fat loaded foods like Carrot Halwa , Fried Items , Moong Dal Halwa , Jalebi etc.Also its season of weddings.So many things to do and eat is the charm of this season.So enjoy guys!!!


Pickles plays important part in our daily food.It gives a very tangy taste to our usual food.In winters also we feel to eat some time tangy things.So here I came up with very simple easy but tasty pickle which can be made in no time.Lets start with the recipe of Lemon and Green Chilly Pickle..




Ingredients :-

25-30 medium sized Green Chilly
2-3 Lemons
1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder
Salt as per taste

Procedure :-

Sliced the green chilly and lemons as shown in the below pic.






With the help of squeezer take out the lemon juice.In a bottle add lemon juice , sliced chilly , salt and turmeric powder.Shake well.And let it stand for 2 days so that chillies soak lemon juice properly.Then its ready :).Can be served with chapatis or rice or pulaw  etc.

Note :- 

1)It will be good only for 5-6 days.Also to increase its life keep it in freeze.

2) Make in Small quantity and eat it fresh.
